FA Cup final
Apart from the game itself, the traditional TV build up, arrival of the teams, the walk out onto the hallowed turf and singing of the national anthem and climbing those stairs to receive the trophy is all going to seem very strange or just wont happen......

Arsenal for me will win, also the more palatable of the 2 cunty sides involved! And also not least because of the Fat Frank factor.

Chelsea fan was telling me what a great job Frank had done with a transfer ban after Hazard left.
The transfer ban where he gained Kovacevic (loan turned to £40m transfer), Pulisic (£60m) & the return of three England internationals (Mount, Abraham & Tomori).

I'm starting to enjoy fat Frank's customary sour grapes interview after their losses. No credit given to the opposition ever, his face all contorted with the overwhelming sense of gut he is clearly experiencing. Hopefully it'll eat away at his health, the classless CUNT.

They looked at it. Like they do constantly. They presumably felt it was unnecessary to hold up play because it was obvious (to them) that while the keeper may have been mostly outside the area, the ball was inside.

Re the handball.

While I'm obviously delighted the scum lost, I do find the lack of even a replay on this one very odd.

I hate VAR but this is exactly why. They spend 10 minutes trying to find a way to overrule Soucek's goal or trying to overturn our pen vs Man utd, but then this isn't even looked at?

Now, it's funny cos it's Chelsea, but I'd be fuming ifit was us especially as I saw a pic on TWITTER today that clearly shows the ball was outside the area when being handled.

Might as well scrap VAR entirely as its application is so inconsistent.

Only watched the highlights.

Amused that Frank looked more upset at losing to us than he did at losing the Cup Final.

I remember Shaka Hislop being sent off for us once when he handled outside the area. He was near the half way line mind!!

Re: FA Cup final
Chelsea started the better & looked like they might blow them away.
Arsenal came back into it well & Lampard looked incapable of changing it.
Pulisic going off was crucial .... needed Willian to replace him but was left out of the squad
Presumably because he is going elsewhere next season. Maybe to Arsenal

Same time next year then...

...no, wait. Better make that a Wednesday evening. Weekends are fully booked.

What? Say WHAT?

Doesn't matter. They're already fully booked as far as the FA Cup is concerned. Toddle off now.

I thought Chelsea played better football, but I was glad to see Kovacic was sent off. Hate that sort of play just spoiling the game with lots of not too bad fouls. Arsenal had the best striker, countered well and took their chances.

Re: FA Cup final
Looked like the keeper ran out of the area but twisted to hold the ball inside or on the line.
Did they ever show the replay so the VAR twonk could get his ruler and crayon out?

Chelsea have a better team but Arsenal have a better manager.
They will do well to keep Aubamayang and can see Pulisic joining a proper big club before long. His old manager Klopp could be interested when he wants to update his front 3

Our Asian friends love a bit of amateur dramatics and play-acting in a game.

He who pay the piper calls the tune - you know the RULES.

Re: FA Cup final
The play acting from arsenal was terrible.

But then Pedro is down for ages when his side are chasing a goal in a cup final. You get off the pitch as quickly as possible.

Just don’t get it. The self importance they must feel is staggering.

Re: FA Cup final
The ball was handled inside the box.

I can't believe there's some crying out for VAR to be used. It's a load of old shit that would have spent 10 minutes looking at it and coming to the same conclusion the ref did.

The ball was in the area, that has always been the rule as far as I can remember?

Re: FA Cup final
Since the restart with no crowds you can hear the players screams every time they are touched.
Can't stand most footballers these days. Muscle bound plastic looking spoilt cunts who fans can't relate to.

The keeper was 3ft out if his area, when were the rules changed?
The idea of the pitch markings is also to help refs and players with the rules. How is any ref without the aid of VAR supposed to be able to tell if the ball is in or out of the area when it's in the air?

Very odd decision imho.
The sending off was unnecessary too.

Dont be confused, Alfs... It's ALWAYS only about the ball

''This 2nd half has been shit. Just stop, start with all the subs, and cunts on both sides throwing themselves to the ground and screaming like girls''

This was happening a lot towards the end of the season. I watched one particular game and there was barely any football being played.

Re: FA Cup final
I'm very confused about that goalkeeper decision. Ok, the ball was in the box but I thought that once a goalkeeper leaves his box, he loses the protection of it, therefore, is unable to handle the ball.
